Our Ideal Candidate

Our ideal Regional Director of Sales is someone who is a strategic, quick-thinking, problem solver. Leading pipeline development and new business generation for our West Coast region, you should have proven success generating leads and pitching new clients, negotiating contracts and closing deals. This candidate is a team player both externally and internally and someone who manages relationships well. Healthcare experience is a major plus!


  • Lead new business generation and account expansion through outbound prospecting, networking/conferences, following up on marketing campaigns, tracking inbound inquiries
  • Ensure delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals and manage a weekly revenue forecast
  • Understand target client needs, leveraging consultative skills to develop proposals
  • Develop key market segments and sales drivers; refine product positioning
  • Ensure long-term competitive edge for by maintaining a current understanding of direct and indirect competitors to help guide sales opportunities
  • Hire, manage and develop a team of Sales Executives, direct the sales process, including prospect targeting, qualifying, and positioning of products and services
  • Develop and instill sales business rules, practices and policies
  • Ensure the effective administration of our CRM to support clarity and accountability of sales activity and progress

You should have:

  • Previous experience in hospital sales and healthcare strongly preferred with previous enterprise level healthcare startup experience a major plus. Bonus points for an embedded network of relationships on the West Coast!
  • Proven ability to generate outbound hospital sales and exceed sales goals
  • Passion for helping others with a positive and collaborative attitude, and high level of compassion for those we work with and serve
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit who takes a proactive approach to business operations and applies creative thinking to customer acquisition
  • Extremely mission driven, i.e. want to humanize the healthcare industry s
  • Outstanding attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of a Microsoft Office programs and CRM tools preferred (Hubspot CRM experience a plus)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • A sense of humor
  • Flexible schedule allowing for frequent travel required
