The mission of The Tyler Robinson Foundation is to strengthen families financially and emotionally as they cope with the tragedy of a pediatric cancer diagnosis by providing hope, information, and relief through financial services, caring volunteers, and monetary grants.
About 10,450 children in the United States will be diagnosed with pediatric cancer in 2014. Cancer is the leading disease cause of death in children.
Unbelievably, there’s an additional burden to manage when parents get this terrifying news. There’s the financial fallout… the things that no one talks about like the cost of completely sanitizing the family home each month, or childcare for the other children, tutoring, travel, and the loss of income when a parent quits a job to care for the ill child. The Tyler Robinson Foundation also known as TRF rescues families from the unseen costs associated with pediatric cancer.
TRF is filling this gap by assisting pediatric cancer now while research is ongoing. We do this by strengthening families financially and emotionally as they cope with the tragedy of a pediatric cancer diagnosis. TRF provides families with sound financial strategies and a significant amount of grant money.
