I usually don’t write reviews; however, this cover was amazing! The center, where I had my midline placed, did not offer any covers that would fit me (9.5” bicep). Care and Wear was a life saver! Comfy, breathable, and easy to order.
I ordered these last week and they are an awesome improvement over the mesh band that I was sent home with. They are very comfortable and stay up nicely. It is easy to forget I am even wearing one. Also a special thanks to Julie in the office for all her help in getting my order delivered! She went above and beyond and I really appreciated it!
I only had my PICC for 6 weeks. The stocking covers that the IV supplies company supplied made my skin itch. The Care + Wear cover was perfect. I purchased 5 and changed them every 2nd day. Even wearing a T-Shirt or a Polo, it went unnoticed. I'm very active and travel a lot. The covers provided the protection I needed even during a pat-down by the nice TSA agent. I gave him more of a shock than it did me :-) After that, I let them know ahead of time what to expect! Love the product.
My son has had a PICC line for over a year and this is the only type of cover he likes. It's comfortable for him, blends in to look like a sport band and he like the different color choices. I'd highly recommend this! He has 4 in different colors! His skin stays dry even when it's hot out because they're so breathable too. Love em! Just recommended and gave the website to one of the nurses in the children's hospital where he is now!
Getting a PICC line was stressful enough, then to have a terrible reaction to the dressings was even harder. I bought this sleeve to not only hide some of the fact that I have a tube hanging out of my arm for a year, but to help keep the dressing down. LET ME TELL YOU! My dressings come up all the time and this is the only thing that keeps it down. I love this so much. The sleeve is soft and snug and keeps my line contained. I have been meaning to buy more but I am a broke college kid. Seriously would recommend to anyone. In fact, I am a nurse and tell all of my patients who have ports or PICCS to check out this site! Love you guys!
